Donation Useful Items for Suan Kaew Foundation
Philippe Le Bourhis, General Manager of Novotel Bangkok on Siam Square, recently donated 96 used toilets to Ratchana Prueksananta, representative of the Suan Kaew Foundation. This donation assists the foundation in providing toilet facilities and promotes proper sanitation for many unprivileged people of Bangkok and rural Thailand.

Donation for disabled
Philippe Le Bourhis, General Manager of Novotel Bangkok on Siam Square, recently donated over 600 towels, handkerchiefs, pillows and other care items to Chanankorn Suwanachuen, representative of the Art for All Foundation. These items will benefit unprivileged people in the effort to help improve their well-being and lead them to a better life.
Donations for Village kids
Philippe Le Bourhis, General Manager of Novotel Bangkok on Siam Square, as representative for the hotel, recently donated used books, flip flops and hotel towels to the underprivileged children at Huay Pha Village in Chiang Mai province. This activity is part of the “Yim Kids” Project aiming to create a smile on children’s faces.


Saving the Children
Novotel Bangkok on Siam Square assisted Wat Bang Nang Lek School in Nakornnayok province of Thailand with donations to the amount of 135,000 Baht. These donations paid for repainting the school wall and purchasing new trash bins, cooler tank, daily essentials, computers and other necessary school materials. The hotel hosted a lunch for students and teachers with the team teaching the students how to separate trash for recycling.






Tsunami Relief Educational Fund in the South
In the context of the Tsunami Relief Educational Fund in the South, over 500,000 Baht were donated to schools for building additional toilets, school fences, a library, fixing windows, renovating the school’s canteen and kitchen, as well as daily essentials, computers, school uniforms, and other materials. Currently, the hotel still supports school janitors at Banbangniang School in Kao Lak, Pang Nga province with a monthly 7,000 Baht aid since 2005.




Ban Mae Yang Har School Project in the north
Ban Mae Yang Har School in Chiang Mai was helped by a lunch project initiated by Novotel Bangkok on Siam Square. Additional donations amounting to 1 million Baht allowed the construction of two dormitories with built-in shower rooms, additional toilets and important renovation work including pathway, library, nursing room and teacher’s residence. Student uniforms and other essential materials and bedding were also donated. The hotel organizes a yearly visit to the school to assess any additional help needed since 2006.




Others Activities;

Novotel Bangkok on Siam Square presented a cheque worth 80,000 baht to Pornchita Na Songkla, the famous actress on the reality show ‘Johjai’. The money raised is a contribution to the ‘Chevron for Distance Foundation’ campaign to invite Thais to raise funds for the foundation to commemorate His Majesty the King’s 80th Birthday. The aim of this campaign is to buy a satellite TV for unprivileged students in the poor areas of Thailand.

A Festive luncheon was organized for 113 disadvantaged students at Bannongtortakien, Saraburi Province. During the event, stationery, school bags, sport equipment, water tanks and other items were offered to the children.
