Towels for Trees … Helping the Environment
Philippe Le Bourhis, General Manager of Novotel Bangkok on Siam Square, and Wattana Pattanawong, Director of Human Resources, and the hotel’s House Keeping Team are encouraging guests to participate in “Towels for Trees”. This activity aims to encourage hotel guests to save water, energy and waste, simply by reducing the number of towels used in each room. Plus, for every five towels unwashed by guests,
the hotel will donate money to plant one tree to offset environment waste in laundering of the towels.



Novotel Siam Square Planting Trees to Save the World

Philippe Le Bourhis, General Manager of Novotel Bangkok on Siam Square led the hotel staff on an exhibition to plant tree saplings at Tungprong Bay in Sattaheep of Chonburi Province, to support the hotel’s Earth Check Project to encourage awareness of the world’s environment during the 2011 Team Building Program.

Making Merit on Songkran’s Day
The management and staff clean up and give alms to monks at Wat Pathumwanaram for Merit Making on Songkran’s Day. The aim of the event was to not only fulfill social obligations towards the community, but also to promote environmental protection awareness. The hotel – recipient of the Green Globe certification – is committed to a sustainable strategy to preserve the environment and to fight against global warming.

Blood Donation
Philippe Le Bourhis, General Manager of Novotel Bangkok on Siam Square together with the management team and staff were recently participated in a blood donation to the spirit of giving. The donates blood will go support hospital the needs nationwide to helps patients.

Donate Help victims Flood

Philippe Le Bourhis, General Manager of Novotel Bangkok on Siam Square, with help from the management and staff, presented donations to victims of the recent natural events in rural areas that devastated rural communities and families. The donations are donated by the hotel’s management and staff to assist recover and move forward.

Green day

Together we can do

Philippe Le Bourhis, General Manager of Novotel Bangkok on Siam Square and the management team recently planted tree together at Rajprasong on World Environment in order the green area destructed during the Bangkok unrest.

Novotel Cares for the Environment & Society

The hotel’s senior management team went to Hua Hin for another team building trip where they also planted trees at the mangrove forest under the King’s Project at Khao Samroiyod National Park, Petchburi.

Blood Donation at Novotel Bangkok on Siam Square

Novotel Bangkok on Siam Square made a kind donation of blood to help the Red Cross maintain supplies of blood for medical purposes,  and was attended by a number of staff who have been donating blood to the Red Cross since the hotel first opened in 1988.
